Kyra Minturn
KyraMinturn Sedgwickwas born on August 19, 1965 is an American actor. Her most well-known role is her character as the Deputy Chief Brenda Leigh Johnson in the TNT crime drama The Closer. Sedgwick was awarded a Golden Globe Award and an Emmy Award for her portrayal as Johnson in 2007. In the final season of the show, Sedgwick was awarded a Golden Globe Award in 2007 as well as an Emmy Award in the year 2010. The show ended on August 13th in 2012. Sedgwick's recurring role of Madeline Wuntch in the sitcom Brooklyn Nine-Nine is also notable. Sedgwick was nominated to an Golden Globe award in 1995 for her role on Something to Talk About.
